Day 4 - Our last day

  • From Medellin to Honda...
When we got up, we went to breakfast as usual and then we went back to Honda City. Honda is a town and municipality located in the northern Colombian department of Tolima in central Colombia. It borders the departments of Cundinamarca and Caldas.

Honda is one of the oldest cities in Colombia, was discovered by Gonzalo Jiménez de Quesada, Sebastian and Nicolas de Federman Belalcázar along with Captain Antonio Lebrija and Juan de San Martin in early June 1539.

In Honda constructions are several hostels where you can enjoy: guided tourism, agrotourism, acuaturism, and ecotourism.

At Honda we can see colonial architecture, such as: Traps Street, Navarro bridge (which has over 100 years), the Cathedral of Nuestra Señora del Rosario and the marketplace, among others.

  • and from Honda to Bogota
The experience was so cool, this trip taught me many things but the best thing was that when my mom was waiting for me outside the bus to give me a big hug.
